Black Sand Beaches

Black sand beach

I am not crazy about black sand because when it gets wet it looks like mud.

The people who were at this beach on the west side of Tahiti were only here to catch a wave, not to lie on the beach.

Where I live the beaches are unique. They are the only beaches in the world that are made up of finely ground quartz. This means they are sugary white.

Eat Your Hearts Out

I am talking, of course, about the beaches of Florida on the Gulf of Mexico.

Maureen thinks that black sand beaches are beautiful and she reminds me that Tahiti has both black and white sand. Enough said about sand.
