Our First Contact in Tahiti
We were looking for the farthest-flung destination that was available. New Zealand and Tasmania were off-limits. They didn’t want people who might spread the dreaded virus. But, Tahiti didn’t seem to care. “C’mon down!” was the message. This makes sense since tourism is the only industry left on the islands. So we went.
A Tahitian Queen did not greet us. A little ukelele/bongo drum trio played for us at the airport.
Then sadistic nurses tortured us. Meaning we had long q-tips stuck up our noses until my head was pushed back as far as it would go and then some. That nurse enjoyed making me squirm. We were tested before we got there when we got there and right before we left there. All this while being fully vaccinated. For the record, no one wore a mask except at the airport. At the hotels and on tours wearing masks was completely our choice.
Little Ferry Studios
We picked up the rental car and quickly found the place we rented in downtown Papeete near the ferry. It was ten o’clock at night and nobody was there to let us in. The only place open was a bar. The streets were very quiet. There were no pedestrians. One hour and a few calls later somebody came to let us in.

Its like you read my mind! You appear to grasp
a lot about this, such as you wrote the guide in it or something.
I believe that you simply can do with a few percent
to force the message house a little bit, however instead of that, that is
great blog. An excellent read. I will certainly be back.
