Return Trip

On the way back, I again paid $20US to upgrade to first class for the – yes- AIRCONDITIONING. We sat with another pair of young professionals who ignored us completely. At least they didn’t have to move. We watched the Polish farmland, and small towns go by. And played chess on the new chessboard we bought at the Krakow market.

I chose the theme from the ‘Godfather’ for the pretty music box. Next time we’ll go to the salt mines. It’s only 10 miles from Krakow. We arrived at the Warsaw train station at 10:30 p.m. We walked back to the hotel above ground. And we got to see the people that usually only come out at night around a big city train station. Which was also educational.
