Father Frost, also known as Santa Claus Lives in Belovezhskaya Pushcha
Did you know that Santa Claus lives in the Pushcha? He does. He also lives at the North Pole. This must be his summer home. Check out those fancy shmancy boots. His house is the most visited tourist site in Belarus.
House of Cards
This is the house where all the cards and letters to Santa Claus are on display.
Baba Yaga in Belovezhskaya Pushcha
Baba Yaga is a scary old witch who is ALSO living in this forest with Santa Claus. What?! Why is she keeping company with the beloved old man? It doesn’t make sense. Is there something we don’t know? Anyway, she kind of reminds me of the witch in Hansel and Gretel. Both of these witches love to eat fat and juicy children.
Fortunately for Moe, Ms. Yaga was not in the mood for eating children the day we met her. Sometimes she will help out a lost traveler, and sometimes she will go (canni)balistic. You never know with her.
